Printed stock of the Proceedings expected by the end of October
Publisher:
- The new Publisher for all IAU publications, is Cambridge University Press (CUP).
The Proceedings of IAU Symposia, Colloquia, Highlights and Transactions) will become available both
in print and on-line. See http://journals.cambridge.org/jid_IAU.
-
The participant's price for the 2005 IAU Proceedings (print and on-line versions, including
shipping) is US$ 75. This is already included in the registration fee of the IAU Coll 198,
consequently, each participant will automatically received a copy of the proceedings.
-
The IAU contract with CUP stipulates that Proceedings of IAU Symposia
and Colloquia should appear within six months after the conference
(ie. Sept 2005 for IAUC198).
Since CUP needs three months to make the final product, the
three months right after the conference are the period in which the
editors have to do their job. This requires that speakers have to
start preparing their manuscripts well before the Colloquium, in order
to be able to submit their contributions immediately after the Colloquium,
with possible corrections triggered during the Colloquium, with
possible revisions triggered during the Colloquium to be submitted within
four weeks after the Colloquium.
Authors should submit their manuscripts (all files) to the ftp-site given below,
at any time before, during and after the Colloquium, however, not later than APRIL 28, 2005.
