Stage 1 - RSAA TAC Application Submission

Accepting Applications for May-Jul12
  • The application details must be entered into the LaTeX template file rsaatac_blank.tex. To Latex this document requires the style file rsaatac.sty. Do not use old versions of either the LaTeX form or style file, as your application will be rejected. For your application to be accepted, the LaTeX form must be parsed to extract the application details, and the file must LaTeX without errors. If the file does not LaTeX correctly, fix it before attempting to submit the proposal.
  • Enter the filename of the LaTeX form you created. You will also be able to enter the filenames of up to six postscript files to include with your application. These files may be gzipped, and standard filenaming schemes are required ( *.ps, *.eps, *.ps.gz, *.eps.gz ). Each file must be less than 10Mb (10485760 bytes), or it will be rejected by the server. Files may be gzipped to bring them under this limit. Any file exceeding this limit will not be uploaded, and is a possible cause of LaTeX errors. Do not include a postscript version of the LaTeX application form. Submit the form to lodge your applications. Another web form containing a subset of the details from the LaTeX file will be returned to your browser. Check these details are correct. Modify your LaTeX file if they are not and resubmit from the previous page. When correct, fill in the instrument details and make the final submission. This may take several minutes, depending on the number and size of the files included. If the submission process was successful, your application will be allocated a proposal ID. Make a note of this number for your records.
  • This may not work on ALL platforms for ALL browsers. If you get the error message "Document contains no data", please try another platform or browser combination.
