Detector History

• Test980217 Dewar connected to SDSU1 controller and performance evaluated.
• Test980225 Dewar connected to AstroMed 3200 controller and performance evaluated.
• Test980319 CCD3 amplifier A stopped operating. Focal plane FP3 was rewired to enable readout from amplifiers C & D and the chip reinstalled and tested. The results are that amplifier C has serious serial register smearing problems. Amplifier D works extremely well, however its operation is serious restricted by parallel register transfer problems. It was decided not to continue with this chip and try the other engineering chip.
