  • There is a café on Mt Stromlo again! Scope Café opened on March 19 2011. Check out the Scope website for more information.

Public Viewing Nights with CAS and Scope Café

  • Scope at Mt. Stromlo and the Canberra Astronomical Society have joined together to offer public viewing nights using the CAS telescopes. Come along and join amateur enthusiasts in exploring the night sky while enjoying some delicious pizza from Scope. Check out the Scope Website or the Canberra Astronomical Society for more information and planned dates.

  • Unfortunately, the Mount Stromlo Visitor’s Centre is closed indefinitely.
