I wavelength fitted all the orders of the GJ1 echelle observations,
scrunched it and combined all the orders into one spectrum.
It is gj1_all.fits
I did not attempt to straighten the continua of the individual orders
so they oscillate up and down.
This data has not been divided by a fast rotating star to remove telluric
lines and to flatten the continuum.
However, gj1div_all.fits has been divided by a smooth star taken on another
run to flatten the continuum.

ps
I had some AAT higher resolution echelle data for some X-ray source M dwarfs
of unknown spectra types that we got low S/N spectra for to derive
accurate radial velocities.
I think one of these stars resembled GJ1 in terms of the strength of the TiO
so I scrunched the spectrum and have placed it in this area.
It is spoct17div.fits.
It has been divided by a smooth star to remove the telluric lines and
correct the blaze shape. I did not bother to remove the broad lines in the
smooth star so the plateau on which the Halpha emission sits is due to the
shallow broad Halpha line in the smooth star.
The lines that you synthesized between 6590 and 6599 are clearly evident.
I can't give you an estimate of the spectra-type for this star at the moment
but will get a low dispersion spectrum of it and GJ1 next week for comparison.
